Dressed for the walk of their life.
Every autumn we ask the same question in the atelier: what would they choose, if they could? The answer, it turns out, is a great deal of butter-yellow merino, an unreasonable fondness for silk, and a collar heavy enough to feel important.
This issue is dedicated to the long walk, the café terrace and the dramatic entrance. Six looks, five rayons and one fitting room, all made by hand in Florence, Biella and Como.

Thirty-six hours. One artisan. One collar.
In a courtyard workshop off the Via dei Serragli, every Collier Rome is cut from a single hide of vegetable-tanned leather, saddle-stitched by hand and burnished with beeswax until the edges glow. The brass is solid. The medallion is engraved with their name. Nothing is rushed, and nothing is glued.
Wrapped in tissue. Sealed by hand.
Every order leaves Florence in a blush gift box, tied with paprika grosgrain and closed with a wax seal pressed by hand.
